Bio
Kayla brings a wide range of Human Resources experience to the Canada ICI team, as she has worked in several industries and assisted with many areas of Human Resources. She is most passionate about Document/ Policy Creation, Total Rewards/ Compensation, and Employee Relations.
Kayla has always had a passion for business, and she started exploring the finer details of business operations when she obtained her Administrative Professional Certificate (Norquest). In pursuing her education, she discovered her love of Human Resources and obtained her Bachelor of Commerce in Management and a Human Resources Diploma. Kayla enjoys building meaningful relationships with others and supporting them with the tools and resources they need to be successful.
I believe the keys to success are transparency, collaboration and drive. If we are honest with each other, work together as a team and are driven to be successful, anything is possible.
My strengths include my interpersonal skills, attention to detail and organization.
I am working towards obtaining my CPHR designation and hope to have it complete within the next few years!
The best part of my day is making a difference in people’s work-life experiences. We spend so much time at our jobs, and I like to think my role has a big part in ensuring employees have a positive experience while at work.
