Bio
Madison’s passion for commercial real estate was sparked during her internship with the Investment Management team at QuadReal Property Group in Calgary. This experience led her to dive deeper into the commercial real estate industry while completing her studies at the University of British Columbia (UBC). During her time at UBC, Madison demonstrated her dedication to the industry by writing an undergraduate thesis focused on Canadian REITs and their debt structures.
Following her graduation from UBC, Madison gained further hands-on experience as an intern with the Investments team at Balfour Pacific Capital, a private equity real estate firm based in Vancouver. These cumulative experiences prepared her to transition to the debt side of the business with Canada ICI, where she is eager to broaden her knowledge and make meaningful contributions to the deals she is on.
I joined CICI because of its reputation as a leader in real estate financing, and I saw it as the ideal place to further develop my skills, make meaningful professional connections, and contribute significantly to the real estate industry.
If you ask about me, my colleagues would say that I am curious and proactive…and will always say yes to a cup of coffee!
I have my sights set on learning as much as possible in my early career and seizing any opportunity that comes my way.
I am motivated by the ability to have an effect on my community; whether that’s by contributing to transactions that shape the physical and economic landscape of the places where people live and work, or by foraging relationships in the industry.
My strengths are my grit, adaptability, and out-of-the-box thinking. I am enthusiastic about how I can contribute to the complex and dynamic transactions I will work on.
