Canada ICI arranged the financing for a 30-unit multifamily building located in Westboro, Ottawa. The project was conventionally financed with a fund proprietary to Canada ICI.

Conventional construction is an increasingly attractive option with increased CMHC scrutiny toward attainable rents. Building conventionally allows for an easier disposition upon completion, and as well allows the builder to maximize the potential income recognized by the CMHC with pre-leases in hand to substantiate market rents.
