Amy’s journey in commercial real estate financing began in 2019, straight out of graduation. Since then, she has worked on both the residential and commercial sides of the business, gaining experience in underwriting, structuring, and executing portfolios. Transitioning into the banking sector further enriched her understanding of the financial intricacies within the real estate landscape.

Now, as a proud member of Canada ICI, she eagerly contributes her expertise to drive innovation and success. In her role as a senior mortgage underwriter, she applies her proficiency in loan valuation, investment structuring, and funding management, as well as leading and training analysts.

I believe that the keys to success are perseverance, curiosity, and consistency.

I am motivated by the possibilities of growth and learning that comes from working with driven and knowledgeable people who are passionate about what they do.

I like working in commercial real estate finance because it offers a tangible connection to our lives, shaping the buildings where we live, work, and play. Fluctuations in the economy directly impacts the work we do, adding further depth and interest to how we navigate those changes.

The best part of my day is winding down for the night and connecting with friends and family over a nice meal.
