Abtin Nikeghbali began his career in real estate at just 18, entering the industry during the COVID-19 pandemic as an investment analyst focused on small- to mid-sized development projects. His early experience provided a strong foundation in real estate negotiation, analytics, and deal structuring.
Since 2020, Abtin has advised on over $4.5 billion in real estate financings across Canada and leads the structuring and underwriting of complex debt and equity capital solutions. His expertise spans land and construction loans, bridge and inventory financing, term debt, and equity placement.
A graduate of the Schulich School of Business, Abtin earned his degree with a specialization in finance, completing coursework in real estate finance and development. He continues to give back to his alma mater as a grading assistant for Schulich’s undergraduate Real Estate Development course.
Looking ahead, Abtin is excited to continue servicing clients, expanding his industry network, and nurturing long-term relationships with lenders and development partners across Canada.
I believe the keys to success are hard work, doing the right thing, and maintaining a mindset focused on constant learning and growth. Staying curious, pushing yourself to improve, and always acting with integrity are what lead to long-term results—both personally and professionally. Luck plays a role too, but success comes from being prepared and having the awareness to seize opportunity when it comes.
