Beginning a career in real estate services at 18, Abtin swiftly carved out a niche as an investment analyst during the COVID-19 pandemic. Specializing in small to medium-sized development projects, Abtin demonstrated an early acuity for the complex dynamics of the property market. Simultaneously, Abtin studied at the Schulich School of Business, taking courses in real estate finance and real estate development, which further cultivated and grew his passion for real estate.
Abtin’s studies enriched his understanding of the industry and kindled a passion for real estate analysis. This newfound interest led him to the University of Guelph’s Undergraduate Real Estate Case Competition (URECC). Proving Abtin’s emerging prowess in the field, his team triumphed by securing second place and receiving the Most Innovative Analysis Award. This accomplishment stood out even more given the prestigious competition, which included numerous Canadian and American universities.
Before joining Canada ICI, Abtin had significant experience as a real estate sales representative and mortgage agent. His experiences further developed his real estate analytics and negotiation skills, complementing his academic understanding with real-world application.
I joined CICI to learn and collaborate with very strong professionals within the commercial real estate industry.
I believe the keys to success are hard work, passion, and luck. When hard work and passion are present, all you need is luck (opportunity) to seize it and succeed!
What I find fascinating is the rapid pace at which our everyday lives are changing due to advancements in technology.
My strengths are hard work, adaptability, and teamwork!
