Michael Khakhan

Profil

Michael joined Canada ICI in 2024 after completing his Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies degree at Western University. Prior to joining CICI, Michael was an intern at Farhi Holdings where he analyzed real estate development and investment opportunities.

Before that, Michael interned at Peakhill Capital where he was responsible for underwriting and due diligence for mortgage investments. These experiences allowed Michael to develop a solid understanding of the industry and truly ignited his passion for pursuing a career in commercial real estate.

In his current role, Michael evaluates mortgage investments and supports the origination team in the structuring and funding of commercial mortgage financing transactions.

I joined CICI because I wanted to learn from some of the top minds in the Canadian commercial real estate industry. The skills, knowledge, and strong ethical values acquired here will be a cornerstone for my professional growth and future success.

I like working in commercial real estate finance because of the fast-paced environment, the exposure to all asset classes, and the opportunity to meet and collaborate with a diverse range of people.

I believe the keys to success are setting ambitious goals, being persistent, and asking for advice.

I am motivated by the challenge of finding innovative solutions, the satisfaction of seeing a deal come together successfully, and the opportunity to continuously learn and grow.
