Bio
Cody joined Canada ICI in 2024 after graduating from the University of Alberta, while also earning his Certificate in Real Estate. During his time at school, he was heavily involved with the University of Alberta Real Estate Club (UARC), serving as Club President and later as an Advisor. Cody also represented the Club as Student Representative for the BOMA Emerging Leaders Committee while volunteering as a University Mentor with the REET Institute. Cody’s exposure to the industry through UARC, paired with his real estate coursework, solidified his passion for commercial real estate.
Prior to joining Canada ICI, Cody built practical industry experience through roles in public accounting and commercial real estate valuation advisory, working alongside U.S. Portfolio and local Edmonton Advisory teams. Since joining Canada ICI, Cody has assisted with arranging over $1 billion in financing across numerous asset classes, collaborating with a wide range of clients throughout Alberta and beyond. He continues to work on building his knowledge and skills while making a positive contribution to the team.
I joined CICI because I have a passion for commercial real estate and it was the perfect company to learn from and grow with as a recent graduate.
I like working in commercial real estate finance because no two days are the same, and this leads to exciting new challenges to work through constantly.
I believe the keys to success are work ethic, discipline, always showing up, and striving to improve.
What I find fascinating is how large and multi-faceted the real estate industry is, with so many moving parts and unseen details that all come together to create a small, but well-connected community.
My personal core values are loyalty, respect, authenticity, perseverance, and accountability.
