Mark Walker

Bio

Mark joined Canada ICI in January 2026. A graduate of the University of Alberta, Mark completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance and a minor in Natural Resources, Energy, and the Environment. While completing his undergraduate degree, Mark worked in northern Saskatchewan during the summers as an Initial Attack Wildland Firefighter, experiencing the busiest wildfire seasons in recent decades in Canada.

Mark is keen to enter the real estate industry with Canada ICI and contribute his skills in financial modelling and real estate financial analysis. He looks forward to joining a team of experienced and accomplished individuals where he is motivated to gain professional growth in commercial real estate finance.

I joined CICI because I am committed to developing a strong professional background in understanding the construction of financial solutions in commercial real estate and learning from a team of experienced individuals.

I believe the keys to success are identifying goals and when/where certain actions can be pursued to achieve these objectives; ensuring resources fit into a strategy that clearly aligns with wanted outcomes.

My strengths are a consistent willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a commitment to effective communication.

I am looking forward to using my leadership skills and experience working in teams in an industry that I have become passionate about.
