Dale Klein is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Canada ICI Capital Corporation, one of Canada’s leading commercial real estate finance firms and CMHC Lenders. Over the past three decades, he has guided the company’s growth from a regional mortgage brokerage into a national platform with offices across Canada, annual origination volumes exceeding $15 billion, and oversight of a multi-billion-dollar loan portfolio.
Since founding Canada ICI in 1993, Dale has built a reputation for relationship-driven leadership, entrepreneurial vision, and an unwavering commitment to client success. Under his leadership, the firm has become a trusted financing partner to institutional investors, developers, owners, governments, and commercial real estate stakeholders nationwide.
In addition to his role at Canada ICI, Dale is the Founder and President of Canada West Limited, a diversified investment and asset management company, and the Founder of Sector Mortgage Management Inc. His experience spans commercial mortgage banking, structured finance, real estate investment, and asset management across multiple sectors and markets.
Dale’s leadership extends beyond the private sector through significant governance and board experience. He served on the Board of Directors of the Edmonton International Airport from 2012 to 2020, including five years as Chair of the Audit Committee. He also served as a Trustee and later Chairman of the Board of NorthWest Healthcare Properties REIT, helping guide one of North America’s largest healthcare-focused real estate platforms.
