Nawaz has been a commercial real estate professional since 2011. He started as a commercial real estate lawyer at a top-tier international law firm, working with some of Canada’s most successful real estate owners, developers, investors, and REITs. Before his legal career, Nawaz worked as an electrical engineer.
At Canada ICI, Nawaz and his team source, structure, and fund commercial real estate loans across all asset classes, focusing on multi-unit residential loans (CMHC, acquisition, term, interim, and construction). Nawaz leverages his unique technical skills, industry knowledge, and contacts to help his clients secure competitive financing to grow and strengthen their commercial real estate portfolios.
