Darian Novik

Bio

Darian joined Canada ICI as a Mortgage Analyst in April of 2025. Prior to this, Darian developed his interest and passion for the commercial real estate field through his studies at the University of Calgary, while completing a Bachelors of Commerce degree with a specialization in Finance.

After school, Darian worked as a property accountant for FirstService Residential, which helped him gain valuable experience in applying his finance and real estate knowledge to multifamily properties. Looking forward, Darian is excited to build upon his underwriting and analysis skills and gain exposure to all facets of the commercial real estate industry, allowing him to provide the highest quality of work to all clients of Canada ICI.

I joined CICI because I wanted to gain first-hand experience in commercial real estate underwriting and loan origination.

I am looking forward to utilizing my expertise and skills to provide high-quality analysis across a variety of transactions and asset classes within the commercial real estate industry.

I believe the keys to success are challenging yourself to learning new ideas and skills, and always striving to improve over time.

I am working towards completing my Alberta Mortgage Broker License and increasing my knowledge of commercial real estate financing and deal structures.

My personal core values are honesty, integrity, and maintaining a strong work ethic.
